Our waffles

Freshly prepared to order

We believe that your food should be freshly prepared, using the best quality ingredients. The wholemeal (spelt) and white flours used in our waffles are organically grown, produced and stoneground at the local Redbournbury Mill, just a couple of miles upriver. We also use gluten-free flour from Doves Farm, organic milk and free-range eggs.

The light and crispy Belgian waffles we serve you are cooked to order in our waffle irons (where timing is critical) and each dish is prepared by hand.

For many years we have used organically farmed beef and lamb, sustainable fish and naturally reared, free-range pigs. Our coffee, tea and chocolate are organic and/or fair trade and our bottled water comes from Belu, who donate 100% of their profits to WaterAid. Find out more about how we are sustainable.

Allergies and special diets

If you have any food allergies please discuss your requirements with your server so that we can help you to choose safely from our menu. Due to very limited kitchen space, gluten- and dairy-free waffles (suitable for vegans) are cooked in shared waffle irons where cross-contamination may occur. We cannot guarantee that any menu item is completely allergen-free.
