We believe that food should be fresh, wholesome and nourishing as well as delicious. Great care is taken in the preparation of all of our food and this includes the use of wholefoods and high quality organic ingredients in our recipes.
The wholewheat, white and spelt flours used in our waffles are organically grown, produced and stoneground at the local Redbournbury Mill, just a couple of miles upriver.
We are not currently able to offer gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan waffles. We have a range of gluten-free toppings, offer rice as an alternative to waffles with our savoury dishes and have a selection of waffle-free ‘desserts in bowl‘. If you have a food allergy, please speak to the duty manager for assistance in making your selection.
For many years we have used organically farmed meats, fresh free-range eggs and hams from naturally reared pigs. Our coffee, tea and chocolate are organic and/or fair trade and we now also use only organic milk.
The Waffle House is the perfect location for almost every occasion, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon/early evening snacks. Our light crispy waffles are individually cooked to order and provide the perfect base for one of our selection of toppings, either savoury or sweet. Our vegetarian dishes and daily specials offer plenty of choice to suit all tastes.
